After two years of business, I’ve decided to take Honeyspoon in a different direction. We will no longer be attending farmers markets on a weekly basis, but will be focusing on projects and special events – like the upcoming Halifax Crafters show. In many ways, it’s been a very difficult and sad decision. I will miss all of my wonderful customers – you have all become like friends who I look forward to seeing every week – thanks so much for your support and kindness. I will miss the camaradarie with my fellow market vendors – I love the way that we support, help and promote each other. The managers of all the markets I’ve attended have also been wonderful – I know it’s a difficult job, but you do it so well that it looks easy!
I will still be baking and doing the things I love – like developing gluten-free whole foods recipes – and I plan to expand my blog and share them with you all. I will be available for special orders, and I’m even working on a way for to get your Honeyspoon fix delivered to your door on a regular basis – stay tuned for further details. I’m looking forward to seeing where the future takes us, hope to see you there!
Hello and welcome! However you found yourself here, I’m glad you made it! This is the blog for Honey Spoon Baking Co., purveyors of artisan granola and other good things. Honeyspoon launches at Halifax Crafters on May 5 – 6, 2012 and will be at weekly markets after that. I want to use this space to let you know what’s going on with Honeyspoon, and to also share with you my inspirations – some will be food related, but I’m also inspired by art, craft, design, fashion and cute puppies.
Look forward to getting to know you – maybe even meeting you in person someday and sharing some granola with you!
