Honey Spoon Baking Co. is dedicated to bringing customers a product that is fresh, local and delicious. Using organic and local ingredients whenever possible, we bake our granola in small batches for a flavour that cannot be matched by commercially produced cereals. With many of our grains and seeds from Speerville Mills in New Brunswick, honey from Cornect Family Farms in Denver, Nova Scotia, dried fruit from Terra Beata Cranberry Farm in Lunenburg County, organic fair-trade chocolate from Just Us and seasonal fruit from the Annapolis Valley, our suppliers share our dedication to quality.
Honey Spoon was born of a passion for food, and a conversation on a long car ride about how difficult it is to find awesome granola, made just the way you like it. After working many years in the food industry – first as a deli hand, then as a cook, then as a macrobiotic cook – both here at home and during my travels across the globe (including stints in London, England and Sydney, Australia), I spent time working in both administration and the arts. Although I enjoyed my other pursuits, I always missed the satisfaction of cooking for others. I began baking granola for friends and family, and their positive reactions encouraged me to start Honey Spoon and spread the granola love far and wide!
